I got some time to put Chuck's (Hard Rock Cafe) big agate in the slab saw today, here are the first 2 slabs to come off of it. It is kind of an irregular shape, so it is hard to tell where to start. Hope I started in the right place. Looks like it will be worth slabbing, some nice patterns. closeup Lookin good Chuck!! Thanks for lookin..................Tony

Thanks Tony! I thought that odd shape would be a problem.
Compared to your "Holy Crap! Rock", I'm calling this the "Piece of Crap Rock". But I'm hoping something good will come out of it. It looks better on the inside than I expected.

This one has some nice patterns to it. You just can never tell by the outside of a rock what you will end up with. It is neat finding out. Fran

Not really being hard on myself. That rock was given to me and it was too big for my saw. I wasn't expecting much out of it; in fact, it looks better than I expected.
