Wow, this was more fun than I ever imagined! The clue was a bit tricky and I suspected that I would catch a few asteroids and meteorites... sure enough, LOL. The first winner, as some suspected was Rockhobbit! It is indeed coprolite, or dinosaur dung. I guess by now you figured out the "hit the earth long ago" clue. Rockhobbit, send me your mailing address and it will be on the way home to you!
The second prize should be easy to figure out, since the clue is exactly the same, "it hit the earth a long, long time ago". Only this time, I will tell you that this is made from a fossil. The face of the fossil has a slightly pebbly texture. This one also is electroformed with 18kt gold plate and has a gold-filled ring attached. All you have to do is tell me what the pendant is made from and it is yours. BTW, let's try to keep the guesses down to one or two per person so more people will have a chance to guess it right.
