Does anyone know how grit and mesh sizes compare? How are abrasives graded into a particular size particle? Just wondering-

They use different size screens to filter with or a buoyancy (in liquid) method to separate sizes. (there was an air method used at one time similar to the buoyancy one but blew the particles up into the air). The liquid was more accurate.
