Fran, wait til you see the greens in that stuff. Doesn't show up in pics in the rough too well. But when you tumble- Hoo boy! And, it goes fast-- is a 6.5 or 7 hardness so it won't take overly long. Glad you like it! Read your post about that huge chunk of amazonite you would've like to have taken home, and thought I'd send you some of mine. Can't wait to see pics. Enjoy. Jo

Fran: It is beautiful material, much of it is very hard and takes a nice polish for cabbing, you will enjoy it, and naturenut is so sweet to have thought of you! You certainly deserve it.

I've worked some of that and it is great material. There might be some fractures but you just cut along them and you should get some great rocks to tumble.
