Very pretty! It really takes talent to do that. I never did get the patterns I wanted when I used to try. Thanks for sharing. Fran

Beautiful! I can't imagine how you get that pattern. I tried a spiral shirt once and it turned out OK, but your patterns are beautiful! Are you dyeing cotton?
Thanks for sharing these, surely the rock gods could not be offended at such works of art!

You must be using some pretty strong Kool-Aid! You've turned tye-dye into an art! Jo

Do you use Procion dyes? Do you have a website? I paid my way across GD tour during college by making and selling tie dyes. I also used to wholesale T-shirts to some local stores and vend in some cities. Fun times. These days, the most I do is help with tie dye day at my sons' elementary school. :-)

Happy New Year's Everybody! Thanks so much for the compliments. I've been surprised how many of us do or have done dyeing as well as how many say they wear it. Or maybe I shouldn't be surprised given our average age and that so many people here make and sell crafty things.
Answers to questions: Yes, Amy, these are 100 cotton, but if you really want to see some aweome stuff, rayon is the best of all. ejs -- yeah, I use procion dyes. I sold dyes starting in 1988 and made a bunch of money at the shows and wholesale. I kept doing a couple shows every year until a couple of years ago when I just decided it was too much work -- burnout set in. There's a bunch of my stuff running around on the street in certain parts of St. Louis county. My friends and I always recognize my own stuff. No website. I've got a basement full of unsold inventory. The current stuff with the stars and mandalas is the first I've done in a year or more and now I'm really only interested in doing artistic stuff. The curtains are getting better and better -- I need for Joe to do more photos. Thanks and have a great holiday!
