Adrian, Wow. Cool project Unfortunately I don't cab so I'm no help there. I can offer some advice, though, if I can get some information . . . How big do you intend to make the tree? If the leaves will be ½ to 1 inch long and 5mm thick, and you intend to do at least 100, you're going to either need a pretty thick branched tree or one made with thick wire. Are you going to wire each leaf to a single piece of wire? Or wires twisted together? What method are you going to use to create the wire structure? Better yet, do you have a drawing of how the tree will look? Eileen

Hey Adrian! Count me in Buddy, I guess it's time to branch out and see what fun we can have hey?! Well I'm knot afraid! OK Mate, stick me down for 6 to start, and we'll see what happens, do you want them pre-grooved? And polished single side or can we do both? Looks like it's going to be a lot of fun! You'd be Nuts to miss out fellow cabbers! Cheers, Sparkles.

I was going to drop out of this but I guess I will wait and give my saw blade one more try tomorrow and see if I can eak out a few more cabs. I think I will have to toss them in the vibe to finish them since I ruined another polishing pad...So goes the learning but I will get there! Fran

Thank you everyone for entering the contest Roan, thank you for help. I intent to use a single copper wire, 1 mm diameter, for groove wrapping. Now, the size of the tree would be limited by a decent box that could accomodate that tree for shipping the prize. I measured the height of a tall box I have and it's 23 cm (about 9 inches). Maybe I could get a higher box, close to 30 cm or such. Adrian

Tony, you're welcome of course! I don't need green for myself but I need leaves from you competitors. Just check the contest thread which is on the top of the page. Adrian
