This will be a quick and easy contest. Our daughter Kendal will be delivered by Cesarean section this coming Thursday (1-8-09). Rules are simple: Guess her birth weight in pounds and ounces along with an estimated length in inches. One guess per person please, but of course you may adjust your guess. I will be pretty busy this Thursday, so this contest will close at the end of the big day. I will announce the person who has the closest estimates a day or two later. Here is your clue: Here is the prize. A few slabs of Royal Savannah Jasper and Mozarkite. The real winners in this contest is me! John

Hmmm ... 7 pounds, 4 ounces ... 21"
I'd rather have slabs than a cigar ANY day! LOL
Thanks for the contest, and best wishes for being a Daddy again!

I wish the new parents the best of health, wealth and happiness for now and for the future. Anyway, my guess: 7 lb 7oz, 20 inchesHaving been pointed in the right direction, I placed my specs where they were supposed to be and re-read the OP.
Apologies for any confusion I caused, but not for my own confusion. And thats what spectacles are made for

You must already have an album of sonogram pics of your daughter. Thank you for sharing it. She is beautiful.
This is a beautiful way to share in your happiness and she is being born to a very generous family. Thank you for the contest.
My guess is 8lbs 5 oz 20.75 inches
