Those are super cool! I had a beautiful 6 pound chunk of that stuff when I first got into rocks. I didn't know any better, cut it into pendants. It made some sweet pendants though. ;D lol

That is one of my favorite materials to look at. I have a slice, and some regular old Imperial, but the Royal stuff is just amazing to me...

akansan: Anyone who has worked this stuff knows it's one of the finest materials to polish too. Takes a mirror polish with ease. Only problems are sometimes the crust is soft so you have to work into the slab till you hit the hard stuff and the nodules do have their fair share of stress fractures. It'll always be in my top ten materials for cabbing....Mel

Oooh, that really looks neat! Thanks for showing these to us! I think it is so neat to picture all the bubbling minerals that must have formed those images. Kind of like popping bubbles. Fran
