The pictures of the chill are magnificent, Adrian. How interesting that so much of the snow appears to be in the valley but higher elevations look swept clean! I think you must have been to that mountain area before...the mountain Cross looks so familiar. And here is a special wish for you and your Family and all RTHers, wheter they celebrate today or not: Have yourself a Merry "LITTLE Christmas"... and may you have an especially wonderful New Year! Hugs and Love, Kate

Love seeing the snow scenery and your wonderful family in the warmth of gathering. You and your ladies sporting your gorgeous work and drinking a toast. That was a great snowball shot! Merry Christmas!!! Jo

Great pictures Adrian. Looks like the slopes were pretty crowded. I haven't skied in years. I noticed in the last pics that you are all wearing your cabs. They look much better when worn. Happy new year to you and yours.

Thank you for sharing all of that with us. I almost felt like I was there (without the cold, of course).

Thank you everyone. Yes Kate, we've been before in this area and I posted the cross before. Here are some info about it: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caraiman_PeakTony, the slopes were crowded in the lower areas where they put snow "cannons" which helped the poor natural snow. The upper portion (photo 7) is pretty uncrowded, but pretty rocky and icey too Keith, have you noticed how did I use your money clip in the New Year's night? Amber, you missed me ... Susan, you consider me handsome... definetely this thread is not for Ina's eyes ;D Adrian

Adrian, there is no chill felt in these pics but tons of family warmth. Your winter scenery is beautiful and I can't help smiling whenever you post pics of you and your family. There is a graciousness of the three of you that comes through on the monitor.
Thank you for the pics and inviting us into your home.
