Hi everyone , I am wondering if there is good agate around Deming ? I am not talking about thunder eggs , but regular agate ?
And , anyone have any info on agate near Lordsburg , NM ?
I live about 1,500 miles away from these places , so have no idea about those areas .
Any insight on those areas would be appreciated . Thanks !

There is a place called RockHound state park where agate can be found near Deming. I would start there and talk to any local rockhounds you run into. I've also recently acquired some phenomenal agate from the San Lorenzo area, which is not too far from Deming/Lordsburg. Below is a photo of the San Lorenzo agate. The big diggings claim is also down in that area. I'm not sure who the owner is, but you might want to research and get permission to dig there. Below is a photo of what can be acquired there.
