Contest that is, because Tammy, Peyton and I are the real winners here. What an awesome day. Tammy is doing great and the surgery went very well. Kendal is absolutely drop dead gorgeous and already you can see her personality.  7 lbs. 1 oz. at 19 1/2 inches. Kap hit it on the nose! Send me your addy! May be a day or two before I get to the P.O. When we had Peyton it was an emergency situation so I was unable to be in the O.R., but this time was so cool. I held Tammy's hand as I watched Kendal see light for the first time.  Peyton is the proudest big brother in town right now.  God is so good! John |

You're right, John, Kendal sure does have personality! She can even talk - she's saying "I've already got my daddy wrapped around my teeny tiny fingers!"
She's beautiful.

Oh my goodness, I got all misty looking at those photos, it brings back great memories. She is a BEAUTY!!!  Look at her posing already.  Peyton looks so dear sitting there with her, what a wonderful day, I was thinking of guys all day today!!!! Congrats, daddy of 2 now. I am glad Tammy is feeling well too. Thank you John for sharing with us such a miracle! She is a really sweet girl. Ain't it amazing how they show their personality from the very beginning?

Oh, and you missed someone when you say that Peyton, Tammy and you are the only winners: Kendal is also a winner, being so lucky to be born in such a beautiful and trusty family.

Congratulations John and Tammy. It is such a wonderful way to start a new year. Kendal is beautiful and she is amazing with that laid back pose. Peyton looks very happy and quite the big brother.

I've never again known joy as pure and intense as what I felt with the birth of my children. It is the only time in my life that I've cried like a little girl out of sheer happiness,,,
May your family be blessed. And do pay strong attention,,,it really DOES go by SO fast.....
