I just got my last tumbler going last night!!! Nothing like the satisfaction of seeing a CE tumbler running again ;D . Really makes you proud of your repair abilities.

Excellent! What is the capacity of the 3 tumblers? I'm currently running a 3lb., 2 dual 3 lb., and a dual 6 lb. = 4 tumblers (all Lortine), 7 barrels, 27 lbs. Every once in a while I get an itch to get another barrel or two, but then I relax. :-)

Congrats on getting the CE tumbler repaired. I have found that once the poor manufacturing issues are repaired they run smooth with out problems.

the little pulley had come loose. I epoxyed it back on. The motor has been sounding rough for a while (its original).

I will tell you since John "Pebblepup" put a lortone motor in his CE I don't think he has had any problems.

The new motor has been going for a couple hours now. No hotter than the motor on my dual barrel. So far so good.

I walked in the shop the other day and my dual CE was not turning so I shut it down and thought well just like they said. So I was thinking of a Loritone motor and got to tinkering with it and the small pulley had come loose and was grinding against the loose rod. Tighten it up and it is running fine so far. But I guess it will eventually go so I am getting prepared.
