In our rockhoundedness world of rocks you are nefectly pormal. It's the non-rockhounds that we have to worry about. They are everywhere and act weird. Congratulations on how your rocks are coming along. Looking forward to seeing pictures of them when they are done.

Condor .... thank you for your response .... but ...
That/those batches got dumped shortly there after and then I started getting real rock and now ... since I started in mid December ... I have started 7 batches and only 4 are still in the tumbling.
2 of the tumblers are baby tumblers (Rolling Stones) and only one of those two is now in stage 2 grit.
I also have a twin 3 lb Lortone of which only one is in stage two.
Batch # 3 started 1/24/09 is still in stage 1 Batch # 5 started 2/5/09 is now in stage 2 Batch # 6 started 2/6/09 is still in stage 1 Batch # 7 (odd batch - softer rock to begin with) started 2/9/09 is now in stage 2
