Can I create a few new member member names & vote for my choice? Imhotep, Imhotep - no more Brandon Frasier & the mummy fans? *zombie like cries* Imhotep, Imhotep!

Just didn't want this thread to get lost before Wednesday. Ron If it did, Imotep would be furious and he just might seek revenge!

Hi Folks,
Am having a computer challenge and now using the co computer to catch up as much as possible. The naming of the stones had moved along. I voted but most enjoyed hearing how you guys "feel" your work. We are all artist if we allow ourselves. But I have seen some beautiful work in this group. You are right on, Doc, with the pawnshop guy.
My joy is that I got some rock for my birthday and I am finding more rocks as I am out more. I also want to go back to the fossil pile. At the right time there are lots of sharks teeth.
Rock shed is great. In a very novice way I really wanted to be able to shape when I got my mix. Think it's better for the moment to work on getting some good tumbling going. Got some tripoli so I am going to put some of my first batch back through that ant polish and see what happens.

less than 24 hours ans Imhotep is still lagging...by ONE vote (actually two to win, one for a sudden death vote). looks like Gaeter ought to dust off a bit of his mantle!
i'll call it tomorrow at 7pm EDT.

where did the "Lock Vote" thingy go, Mark?
anyway, snatched from the jaws of Gaeters victory like a French Legionnaires baguette, Imhotep's Fury wins the day! Congratulations, Tweetie!
IM me your address and i will mail that out tomorrow, got to go to the Post Office anyway.
Thank You ALL for your outstanding participation in this extremely close contest.

SEE!!! someone else voted after i'd called it (unless it was Mark trying to figure out the lock do thingie)....
but at 7pm (+/-) EDT it was Imhotep's Fury by one vote.
if Tweetie doesn't claim it by next week, it goes to Gaeter.

Your work shows the "heart" with which you do your work. To hear you describe those is a great sharing. Thanks for that and sharing all the information you do. I often think how great it would be to have the skills to shape the stones and want to rush it. But as with great things, they come with patience.
