Oh, this is FUN!!! Thanks, Shannon! Several names come to my weird mind... Dyna Dolomite (pronounced doll-a-mighty) Dyna MagnetiteDyna MicaDyna Wulfenite (she is a little wolf by heritage ;D ) Dyna Titanite (little body but BIG heart ;D ) and Dyna Zora (except that Zora doesn't really have anything to do with rocks as such. I just like the sound of that name! ) It's a good thing dogs love us unconditionally considering some of the crazy names we give them. I had a cousin who had a dog and a cat. He eventually named the dog "Cat" and the cat "Dog" because they always seemed to come running when he was trying to fetch the opposite animal, usually with the phrase: "C'mere, you d__n dog (or cat)"! depending on which one had just gotten into mischief! ;D Lady B

Cool Contest! Thanks Shannon. Here's my names: Dyna Ruby Ruff Dyna Paisley Plume Dyna Rosetta Lace Rosetta - little Rose or Dyna Lace RosettaLOL I think I need to go to bed, LOL I had show dogs in the past. One of my dogs was a Sheltie. He was a Blue Meral (sp). I named him Kenyon Sir Winston of Smokey Blue. Kenyon was his name, Sir Winston was his fathers show name, Smokey was my cat, and Blue was his color. Looked good on his papers, LOL. We just called him Buddy. Tigger

That's a VERY nice prize as I was never able to talk you out of any of it. Believe it or not Bejewelme just stole my idea. I thought DD had a good ring to it. I'll make a couple of others.
Stonehaven (doubles with your heritage and a rock name) Moine (schists found in Scotland) Scourian (gniess found there) Knockan (a crag found there)

WINNERS! WINNERS! WINNERS! WINNERS! WINNERS!
Ive sat here all week thinking about these names and you all made it real tough. In the end, I decided what better name for a little pup that will accompany me on rockhunting trips than..........Rockhound. But she is a girl so she needed something feminine too. Ive decided on sitnwraps name of Dyna Mae Rockhound. But since chassroc offered the name rockhound as well, he also gets an Agate Creek agate prize.
Congrats to the both of you! Please pm me your addresses so that I can get your packages shipped out this week.
Thanks for playing everyone, it was fun!
