I got one of these in trade for some rock, but am clueless as to how the thing functions. It has 3 bowls stacked on top of each other and I think all the springs and stuff are intact, butanyone have a 'primer' or anything on what grits to use, how long etc? I am familiar with the typical rotating tumbler, but how could I use this to shine preforms, and what step would I starty at/ Randy... You available and learned in this type of vibe? Thanks!! -Banjo

Hi - I have a Model-A and a Model-B - all quiet now, sad to say.
I would run preforms with ceramic media nad 120/220 grit for 1 to 3 dats depending on how rough preforms are. Spritz every 4-6 hours to keep good motion. Grit should just lightly coat rock and easily be displaced by spritzer. Rinse mud and recharg every 12-24 hours depending on mud.
Then 500, 1200, AO - my favorite recipie. Day or two in each, recharge 500 at 24 hr, but should not have to recharge 1200. Still need to spritz.
AO for 2 - 4 days depending on result.
Should have hi/low pulley. FOr 3-stack, high for grits. Consider lo for AO polish, but if loads are heavy, may need hi there too.
