Excellent job! Super shiny. I love 'em. How many rounds did you end up running? I love the view of your house in the last photo. :-) Great colors and patterns on those - top flight!

Boy Don, you got an incredible shine on those! I've kinda kept away from mook myself as I was afraid it wouldn't polish up very well but now I've got to whack up my piece I got from Ron's and try a bit....Mel

Love that mook! And yours are beautiful. I think you got a "James" finish on those babies!
Ron's Rocks - the Ron that sells on ebay?
What polish did you use?

Thank you for posting such a beautiful batch, together with the rough rocks. Always a pleasure to watch your tumbled stones!

Nice batch, Don. Surprised you thought it ‘soft’, though. The stuff I’ve tumbled seemed as hard as any other quartz, and cuts just as ‘hard’ on the saw.

Thanks for the kind words everyone!
ejs, I didn't keep track, but I think these probably went about 4 rounds in coarse, or about half what I do for agates. They just seemed kind of soft.
Ilana, yes, these were from Ron's Rocks on ebay. I used aluminum oxide for the polish, and ran them 13 days in the polish stage.
