I finally got my saw put together and running again. I changed the pullies to get the blade to fun faster and filled it with water for coolant. Pics to come soon.

Thanx for the info. I'm not sure what the motor is rated for, but when I was cutting rock in the 7-8 hardnes range , and over a couple inches across , the saw would stall out. I increased the speed to 1:1. I seems to be working much better. I am guessing I am running in the 1700 r.p.m. range.

for the 8 - 10'' blades that's fine.
for the arbor speeds i use on my saws 16, 18, 24s, i stick with the chart from MK-blades.
as for the feed speed stay in the range of 6 - 8 minutes to the inch. For saw`s over 16''.
If your hand feeding let the blade do the work.
