Here's a neat one, I think it's pet wood in red white and blue with a kind of botryoidal druzy coating This one is palm, or palm bog that's pretty interesting And this one I picked up at the Flagg show in Mesa. Jasper from near Fossil Creek on the Verde. It's become my mission to find the source from whence it came Thanks for looking!

Beef, I'm going way out on a limb here (sorry, bad pun), but I don't think the top one is pet wood. It looks like a coral or other sea animal to me, just because of the way the bumps form in a line. But it won't be the last time if I'm wrong.

It is quite obviously a petrified piece of KFC. Probably a drum stick. ;D

Hey Beef! You've been busy lately! I think the top one looks like cooking bacon and I agree the second one looks like a trout fillet. That 3rd one is amazing red! Very cool indeed. I sure hope you find the source. Now for Saskrock, that looks like dinner! Tigger

Hey, beef. I love the red jasper. It looks like what is sold as "fantasia jasper" from Utah on eBay: What are your plans for it?

I was going to say the first one is Bacon, but if it tastes like chicken, Saskrock gets my vote.
ejs: any idea where they are picking up that jasper. It looks like a moss agate I pick up.

Okay, I believe the first two photos are two slabs of bacon, the next two are trout filets, and the third is just a chunk of raw meat. Compliments to the owner...."Beef."
