I got a few new slabs a couple days ago. Morrisonite Dino Bone (one of my best pieces. I love the black outlined cells...and a very solid piece) Closer-shot this is unknown. It came out of Utah though. Any thoughts...please holler. THANKS! Steve

Steve: That is some great looking material. The last one is quite interesting with the inclusions, but since it doesn't come from WA I am lost as to what it is.

Those slabs are phenominal. There is a pheasant feather right in the middle of that Morrisonite. It seems appropriate for such a beautiful feather to be in such a beautiful slab.
That Dinoe Bone is so wild with such vibrant color.
I don't know what that last one is but boy o boy it's a beauty.

Very nice slabs. The last looks like saginite.

Steve, Man you sure have some nice stuff!! Those are all 5 star class A slabs. Last one looks almost like sagenite, but it doesn't have the classic sprays, it is more random, so I have to say................No idea!!

What's that? Lottery with slabs as prizes? They all look like that, but the dino bone and the Morrissonite are unbelievable!

Thanks guys! Managing to stump Mel has to be one of those treasured most sought after moments in life...right! ;D I'll post any cabs I get out of the unknown. I still have no ideas. The Bone actually was given me to Bill Branson. He's the fellow who found the world reknown Utah Cycad. When he handed me that slab...my mouth hit the floor. I am thinking a big oval for that one. Something large enough to keep the whole look alive. Thanks Again. Steve

This may be a really bad shot in the dark but I think that last one could be Coprolite. Nice looking bone.

nice, Nice, NICE Dino slab ! The red areas on that unknown looks like Yellow-Cat "redwood", since you say it's from Utah but those sprays are really different.

Steve, You've got some choice slabs there. All 3 are fantastic! Wish I could help with ID of the last one, but I can't. Garry

I actually started a cab from the Dino Bone and the unknown. The unknown is a HUGE disappointment. It's super SOFT....and nothing I thought it was going to look like. I'll try to finish it up...who knows...maybe the polish will bring the 'stunnnnning' out of it! Steve

Really nice slabs. They are all going to make some super cabs, large or small.
