Are we having FUN or what!?!?!?!?!
Here is the first official puzzle in Lady B's Rocking Sudoku!!! Contest. This is a very easy One-Star Puzzle.
This first puzzle is The Fossil Category, and the Keyword for this puzzle is: ANTRIMPOS. - This decapod crustacean was a member of the Phylum Arthropoda and represents the very ancient ancestor of the modern day shrimp. It lived from the Permian to the Cretaceous Periods (250 to 70 million years ago) in salt waters surrounding Europe and in the Mediterranean. The exoskeleton is usually found embedded in soft limestone today. As with any of these types of fossils, only its impression in the bedrock is left for us to admire and enjoy, as the exoskeleton was made of cartilage, not bone. Any attempts to extract the fragile fossil “remains” would result in total destruction of the specimen.
In order to solve the puzzle you will need to follow this link: Adobe pdf format link: www.keepandshare.com/doc/view.php?id=1037591&da=yThere are additional instructions and helpful information in the puzzle file. This puzzle has a value of 1 Credit for trying to solve this puzzle; and 1 Credit for sending me your Solution by PM (user name ladybeabea) by 11:59 AM Eastern Time, Tuesday, January 27th. (You have until the official close of the contest – 11:59 AM Eastern Time on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 – to submit your Solution if you are not trying to earn any Extra Credits.) By successfully solving this Puzzle you will earn TWO Points out of a possible 60 for this Contest. Have FUN and Happy Solving!! Lady B

Hmmmmm!!! Maybe this One-Star Puzzle is too easy! Syfun has already solved it and earned 2 Points AND 2 Extra Credits! Guess I'll have to make the rest of the puzzles a bit more difficult! Lady B

Well, I printed it and will try to work on it tomorrow while I'm waiting my turn with the Dr. I'm not to good with this kind if stuff, but I'm a worse patient. LOL I have to have a CT scan of my chest as the Dr found a few things he doesn't like. Also my blood pressure has gottin pretty high the last few days, don't know what that's about. So Ms LadyBeaBea, I think I need your mischeivius (sp) contest to take my mind off things. Ok, let's see what I can do.......
