Ordered a Genie a few days ago from JS Gems. Can't wait to get started. Its been a very, very long time since I made a cab. Also picked up a Work Force tile saw today from Home Depot after reading so many comments about it on this forum. As many have said, they're not listed on-line. But I called and they had 5 in stock. Chervon Power Tools makes both the Husky and WorkForce. Equipment is growing. 2 tumblers going now. The A-R2 wasn't big enough so I picked up a Model B from Lock Stock a couple months ago. Boy I'm going to have a lot of explaining to do.... But my daughter remains very interested. And now my son. All what I had hoped for. Less TV & video games - more creativity.

That's great! You are really rocking now. I love my WF but perfer to put a good MK blade on it. I've cut lots and lots of rocks with it and it keeps going strong.

Genie is a good machine. I have a Genie and a set of Titan wheels on an old Hillquist arbor. If you treat that Genie right it will last you a long time. I bought a brand new Highland Park (24") slab saw with my paper route money in 1957 ( 58?) and guess what. I'm still using it. I just replaced the bearings last year and it's cutting as good as new again. Quality pays off. 50+ years of cutting with that saw and it's still going strong!

Congrats: I am giving my Genie knock off a chance, you can't go wrong with that Genie, everyone seems to love it! All that new equipment I am excited for you! I don't know how old your kids are, but my 8 year old son is real curious about everything now that I have one in the basement! Amd I agree just learning about the rocks, or collecting, etc are good things for their crativity besides just TV and video games.
