Very neat eagle pics! Umm, that doesn't look like a good time to stick your head out the window. Curt

Mel - Me and Christi were doing some "drive by" hounding as there is a lot of copper minerals and agate in the area. It was all we could do to not pull the emegrency stop cord! Curt - They warn ya not to stick your head out of the cars. The rocks and trees are really close and a few of the trees were smacking the side of the train. Ralph & Mary Ann - This is up by Cottonwood, Clarkdale to be exact. Here is the link to the site: www.railsnw.com/tours/verde/verde.htmIt is well worth it!

Oh this is beautiful and that is what a real sight seeing train ride is. It looks like you got a shot of then nest and you can see the head. Is that an adult or a chick? In any case your pics are amazing.

There were chips and other snacks on the train. Most importantly beer! The first class car has more of a food selection from what my co-worker tells me. If anyone is thinking about going, eat before you get there! I paid $5.50 for a hot dog at he depot! I even saw folks with small hand bag type coolers on the train.

Beautiful pics, those ones with the eagles are great. I can see why they painted that eagle on the locomotive.
