For those following my tumbles .... The batch 3, rerun on stage 1 is/has now yielded 5 perfect pieces ... (one is really small .... but what the heck) The black one from the first stage one run was almost perfect ..... it is now perfect. Along with 3 other of the original stones in the first stage one ..... they are all as well perfect. Not a dimple to be found (they are as smooth as even nature can do) ..... now I am going crazy waiting for when I can start stage two ..... oh ya baby!!! ps .... mind you ... I still do not know what stones I have .... woof Join me in my happy dance!!!!

They do say ignorance is bliss...so it really doesn't matter that you don't know the IDs of your stones. What matters is the joy of tumbling them. ;D I'm with ya on that dance!!! LB

If I had a dime for every rock I can't ID, I'd have enough money to by a truck load of rocks!
It would be nice to know what they all are, but as long as they go in ugly and come out beautiful, I don't really care.
Today is the day for me to go thru my 5 barrels and move them along. I have 2 in the first stage, 2 in the second stage and 1 in the 500 hundred stage. Only a couple more weeks and I will have a finished batch. It will be my first batch since I started tumbling again and I'm getting antsy.
