The Party is almost over!!! The Fun is about to end!! Here is the sixth official puzzle in Lady B's Rocking Sudoku!!! Contest. It’s a Far-Distant-Galaxy-Star Challenger Puzzle - a Super-Sudoku Challenger! This sixth puzzle is The “These Are A Few Of My Favorite Stones” Category , and the Keyword for this puzzle is: just waiting to be discovered!!!! Yes, once again the superiorly successful Sudoku Solver will have to solve that little conundrum, too! But don’t worry! There are clues and hints galore! And there is always what that Wise Old Philosopher said all those many years ago: “When the fish bites, when the bluebird sings, when I'm feeling awe-filled, I simply remember my favorite things, and then I can solve Sudoku!”
To make it a bit easier to determine what that Keyword is, here is a lovely image that I have masterfully designed just for this puzzle! (No monkeys in this one. I’m just wondering what you can see this time.) In order to solve the puzzle you will need to follow this link: Adobe pdf format link: www.keepandshare.com/doc/view.php?id=1055034&da=yThere are additional instructions and helpful information in the puzzle file. And you might also want to refer to this file: “ Need a Bit of Help with Those Pretty Yellow Diagonals” if you are feeling bedazzled by that amazing imagery and wondrously conundrummed by that missing Keyword! Adobe pdf format link: www.keepandshare.com/doc/view.php?id=1040906&da=yThis puzzle has some very particular requirements, restrictions, and rewards – all of which are noted in the Word document and/or Adobe PDF file. By successfully solving this Puzzle you will earn 20 Points out of a possible 60 for this Contest. Have FUN and Happy Solving!! Lady B

Oh, NO! I only had a look on that monster sudoku and I already have head-aches! I feel it's overwhelming for my brain cells, but I'll do my best.

A regular Sudoku has 81 cells and this one has just a smidgen more than three times as many!!! ;D You'll have it solved in no time!!! Kate

Well, I definitely made this one too easy!
Ronda - akansan - has already solved the Keyword conundrum.
It will probably be only a matter of minutes now before she has the Sudoku solved, too!

I'm with you Tigger. I think I could solve the puzzle, but my "stone" vocabulary is limited to agate, jasper and petrified wood. Thanks for the great contest LadyB

Well, I think I figured out about the keyword too! Your passion for some rocks is very well known and the letters only confirmed my suppositions. At least that's what I hope, Lady B is always full of surprises.
Still working on the puzzle. Kinda stucked after completing 17 letters.

I'm right there with you Adrian on the puzzle. I had to go back because I missed an option...and I'm not liking the thought of redoing all the work!

If it's any consolation, I had to do this puzzle twice myself. Once to convert it to letters, and once to time myself. It's amazing how quickly an hour can go by. Kate

Steve - Syfun - has done it!! He is the first to have solved both the Keyword conundrum AND the Sudoku grid!! So, how are the rest of you doing, haaaaay? (I know. I know. Some of you are stuck on that Keyword and some aced the Keyword and are getting a tad frustrated by those 256 cells!!! ) Oh, I can hear those names you are calling me right through my monitor!!! ;D Congrats, Steve!!! Now it's just a matter of time to see who joins Steve in the Successful Sudoku Solvers Hall of Fame!!!! Kate

Lady B, would you please add a banner at the entrance in the Betty Ford new wing? The text would sound like that: Visitors are kindly requested to avoid words such as: "DIAGONAL", "ROW", "COLUMN" and LETTER". Wearing cloths in chequers is strictly prohibited*. *A visitor who did wear such cloths was immediately surrounded by the patients and the cloths were shredded in no-time. That visitor also disappeared, patients claimed he went in a South America remote country but rumors go that in that day, no patient was hungry neither at lunch, nor at dinner time. We probably want to avoid words like: Cell and Cluster, too!
I'll check with my Banner Guy and see if he can line something up.
I think he has 7, 8, or 9 other projects so it might be a while before he can work this into the cluster of jobs he already has in his "To-Do" Column. He's pretty remarkable at what he is able to problem-solve on this cases I throw at him considering the size of the cell in which he works. Of course it is diagonally opposite the snack bar so he can replenish his cells -so to speak - quite frequently.
He is such a great worker...always has all his ducks in a row!!
Back with a banner as soon as possible, Adrian. Thanks for the timely request!!
