Chris and I got the opportunity to adopt a whole rock orphanage from a small town in Oregon called Nyssa. We went over today and brought the first load home. The weather was beautiful and sunny and the company was first rate. Just got home and backed the trailer in the driveway ![](http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z229/catmandewe/HPIM1084Medium.jpg) ![](http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z229/catmandewe/HPIM1097Medium.jpg) Nyssa is also known as the Thunderegg capital of the world, I can now see why. ![](http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z229/catmandewe/HPIM1085Medium.jpg) Lots of petrified wood, my nephew Jake is doin the Vanna White thing with them. ![](http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z229/catmandewe/HPIM1091Medium.jpg) The biggest piece of wood that Jake thought he could lift ![](http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z229/catmandewe/HPIM1092Medium.jpg) I was driving through Boise and some guy in a black pickup pulls up along side me and gives me the big thumbs up and a grin, Think he was a rockhound??!! Tomorrow we get to unload it all, see how much goes in the pile and how much gets hauled back to the house!! Thanks for lookin....................Tony

NICE TONY!!! I think your Rock Orphanage is growing by Leaps and Bounds! It looks like their in good hands too. What type of ThunderEggs are they?? You'll have to cut a few and share them with us. Steve

These pictures are impressive but wish the other members of this site could see it in person. I got to peak at it for a few minutes yesterday as it was being loaded. It was an incredible sight.
Thanks again for picking up that mineral oil, Tony. It is much better than what I was using before.

Tony did the Nyssa rock shop close? Is that where this wonderful haul came from? Lucky man - good score no matter.
