Do any of you use the "Mighty X" polish advertised on eBay for rock tumbling? How does it work for you?

Well - I have discovered that Mighty X polish is alumina. I bought some to try.

You should ask what the micron rating is. Their are many grades available and prices are according to how finely graded it is.

Well - I just finished a batch using the Mighty X Polish, and it has done the best job I've seen yet! I used Cerium Oxide before, and some white powder that came with a tumbler, and they were not NEARLY as good on my stuff! So... Mighty X or Aluminum Oxide (Micron size) for me!

Thanks for the report!
It seems a little spendy compared to the aluminum oxide polish at the Rock Shed. On the other hand, if it works well for you then it's worth it.

Next time I might check out the Rock Shed. Thanks!

All I use is the AO from the rock shed for tumbling or polishing cabs. It works great.
