Well after being frustated with trying to post pictures through Photobucket I was able to load pics onto Flickr.com. For those who are interested in viewing you will have to access them to "Your photostream" category then "Cid's rocks". it should work and I would be interested in what the group thinks of this bunch of rocks. Thanks!

Could you post a link to the pictures here? Or better yet, follow the procedure in the tips for posting pictures so we could see them here?

Neat looking rocks! I have no idea what the red/orange is but it sure looks great! I am looking forward to seeing what it looks like when you have it cut. Fran

You can also link flickr pics by: 1) Right click on the image in flickr 2) select "copy image location" (or similar, depending upon which browser you are using) 3) paste the copied info from #2 into a message here 4) Remove everything past the final part of the file name (typically remove "?v=0" 4) Bracket the result using the image tags here. for example, from Cid's flickr:

Wow Dean thanks so much for posting my flickr pic on RTH. What a guy! I just cut open the thunder egg "nest" and tomorrow I will cut a slab and get it posted. Hey the sun just came out...where is my camera for some rock pictures. Though I don't have a PC I will try to figure out your procedure and apply it to my Mac in order to directly post future pics here. Thanks again! Well I just took a pic, loaded it in my filea and tried to paste th image to this message but I keep getting the JPG convered code instead of the image itself. Must be doing something wrong; will keep trying to figure this out.

Well...I finally figured out your procedure created a link to flickr...since wish I knew how to post a direct image instead of a link as you were able to do. Maybe someday I will get this figured out...it can't be that difficult!!

Ok Dean how did you do it? How did you get a direct image from flickr to post instead of the JPG coding?

Just click the little picture symbol it will give you a couple IMG's in square brackets. Stick your link in there. Like this

you just need to get the link for the picture only in there now. It will end with a .jpg
