Or you could just use photobucket. Its way easier. Here is the tutorial I made for how to use it for the Estevan Rock Club web page. Step 1 - Get your pictures online. I would recommend photobucket.com/ they are free and do not send junk mail. Just go to their site and sign up for a free account. Then follow their instructions Step 2 - Once your pictures are on the Internet. Left click then right click, then select copy at this spot. Step 3 - Go into your post, and in the message part left click where you want the picture then right click and paste.

Sask....thanks for all your help BUT I have a MAC and not a PC which means I do not have a left and right click on my mouse. I did initally do a setup on Photobucket BUT I the template to load files(photos) would never display buttons to chose a file so after two days of frustation with Photobucket I dumped it. Obviously I need someone to SHOW(hands on)me how to do this so I will check with my neighbor and see if he can get my brain straightened out. Thanks. I'm from the generation not born with computer savy.

Sorry I don't know enough about Mac's to tell you specifics. But, after loading the pics into flickr what you want to grab is the file name as stored there. For example, here is the actual name of the one I posted for you (green added by me for emphasis): farm4.static.flickr.com/3450/3276451539_c577a9158d.jpg somhow in your browser there must be a way to get at the file name and then "copy & paste it" into the reply box here. That is all I did (other than delete the extra characters flickr will throw on the end as I mentioned earlier). Good luck!

farm4.static.flickr.com/3450/3276451539_c577a9158d.jpg. Dean I think I'm needing some hands on luck. I copy and pasted from your previous message thinking that would work. I even went back and re-registered with Photobucket AGAIN and had the same problem with the upload image template not displaying "choose files" to be able to upload. Yes...very frustrated here...LOL....I need a piece of chocolate right now!

if you put that in between the IMG's it will work. I have no Mac specific advice though.

so close, but I believe that the last IMG tag is wrong you used a curved bracket, it needs a square one like this [/img]. If you just press the "image button" in the editor it creates the tags like so : [/img] just copy and paste the picture info in between the two.

Sunfighter, put a / in front of "IMG" in the second (last) [ IMG ]... to look like [ /IMG ] (without the spaces). That's all you need.

Use the reply button (instead of the "quick reply" box to get to a new page with buttons that will help a lot. Then the 4th button on the second row of "add tags" will add the bracketed tags for you. What I like to do is paste the URL/file-name into the reply, then highlight it in the reply box, then click the image/photo button to add the tags. Good luck - you are SO CLOSE!
