Naturenut (Jo) and her significant other Bill, and her golden retriever Angie came to my house today! It is really nice to talk to other people who share the rock bug, since no one besides Tony is terribly interested in talking about rocks!!! It is also fun to share material and treasures that others have shared. Bill walked in carrying what had to be 80 pounds of rock!!! I loaded these in a 5 gallon bucket and they are too heavy to carry downstairs. Jo is a rock magnet!!! These are all more examples of the local PA material she has been collecting!!! This pic really isn't to scale to see how heavy these rocks are! She also brought me a beautiful fancy bloodstone she bought on here and slabs already cut!!! And a piece of the inkblot jasper she won from Stonesthatrock I don't know if the workforce can handle the large boulders she finds!!! Northshorerocks had sent her some of his gorgeous Laker's and asked her to share a particular red one with me!! Thank you NSR!!! Jo also brought me extras, I cannot wait to cut these up and see what is inside! Sorry about the pic! So Bill decided to cab, and Jo made me a beautiful wire wrap!!! I posted it in Wire Wrapping. She also brought killer cookies, and we had to have one chocolate espresso martini for V-day!!! It was a great day with friends. Thank you so much Jo, I had a blast!! And Angie was as sweet as could be!! Looking forward to another fun day soon!! We seem to keep rotating houses, so tag you're it!!! Big hugs, Amber

Dang it looks like I missed a really good time. Blasted homework screws up everything. Looks like I'm going to have some rocks to cut. Yeah! Jo your wrapping skills are really improving.

Randy, you know as well as anybody that milky girlie drinks just make wraps look better! LOL. Thanks, means alot. Tony, your ears must have been ringing because you not only have some rocks to cut, but you got some wheels to put on, cookies to eat, leaves to groove and buckets of rocks to haul. Homework will seem like a cakewalk! LOL. Do you get the idea that you were missed? Amber is absolutely the most generous soul. She thought of my achy feet after hunting all those rocks! She gave me a bag of soothing chocolate lotions and a mug to drink hot chocolate! You will never know how my feet will appreciate this gesture. Well, maybe you will because they will soon be ready to hunt more rocks! LOL. She also gave me this: A gorgeous piece of Kyanite! She must've known I've been lusting over Lori's gorgeous Kyanite wrap! I love it! She also gave me her saw cuts which, are in my vibe as we speak with some super cool tiny Botswana Agates, some Pink Oregon Opal, Holly Blue and some Seam Agate pieces. Sorry no pics because I couldn't wait to get them in the vibe and forgot to take them! LOL. Then, she gave me some gorgeous Carnelian to tumble (they will go in my next batch with softer stuff). Some Fairburn Agates for me to cut and cab either with my future cab machine or my vibe. And... an assortment of goodies. There's some Aventurine, Rolling Hills Wonderstone, Lavic Siding Jasper, Lazurstein (Lazulite & Pyrite in Quartzite), Holly Blue with Druzy, Snowy White Dolomite, Picture Jasper, and a super cool Botswana Agate. Lastly, while we were being girls, Amber kindly let Bill cut loose on her brand new cab machine. He chose this killer Poppy Jasper from California. Thank you Amber for a wonderful time! You are the Rock Queen! Oh yeah... and Angie thanks you for the gourmet treats and the beef jerky. She had a great adventure and got all tuckered out today. Do you think the real reason Tony didn't join us was that he didn't want to share any of his beef jerky with Angie??? (maybe she's just making sure Tony doesn't get any of HER beef jerky, hmmm.....) &hearts Jo

OMG Jo, I love that pic of Angie She was such a good girl in my little house today! I like spoiling her!!! Your visit was just the best ending to a wonderful Valentine's weekend! It is always a blast getting together, it is a shame there is so much in life that interfers with doing it more often! You and Bill are such sweethearts, and I am so glad to have you as a friend!! Hope to get together soon and do it all again!!! Randy-come on up, it is a 6 hour drive, we would have so much fun----remember Yuengling is less than 30 minutes from us!!! Amber

MMmmmmmm.... Yuengling ;D Yeah, 6 hours ain't nothing, I drive that far to some of the stupid horse auctions that I help my buddy with. It's just a matter of getting my wife to take a weekend off, but since she's the only one working I'll have to sell more wire wraps. lol.... I was thinking sometime around spring break, we'll have to see what happens.

Wow Jo Bill's cab is a knockout, hard to believe its only his second one. Angie is so cute, I spent the weekend dog sitting my friends two goldens. They have such good dispositions.

That's so cool you guys can get together and have some fun! And look at all that different material. I see a lot of future eye candy in those photos.
Great wrap Jo! It sounds like everyone had really good time ladies!
