John: You missed it but Robert so wanted to see them, so I tried the hammer and screwdriver, that didn't work, so I made a huge mess in the basement opening them for him with the wet saw! He had fun and so did Mommy! I gave him the jewelrs loupe and he looked at all of them and picked out 2 to take to school today! I like that he is liking rocks!!!

Those are so cool. You son's classmates are in for a treat. Are you going to cab any of the solid one? I bet the cabs would be all sparkly.

Geodes are one of my favorite stones.I like the smaller ones too,they always seem to be more interesting inside,plus you get a better variety if you buy by the pound or flat rate box.You got some beauties there Amber,thanks for sharing. Mike

You might want to see if you guys have time to do a Dugway Geode trip while you are down. I love it down there, and you can get quite a few within a few hours. Your son would love it out there too...because there are broken nodules littering the ground! BTW...you did a great job with a 4" saw. Steve
