I got these saws from JSGems, they have been here for a couple of months, but I have not had any place to set them up at. Today I got some friends to help me and we cleared out a spot for these 2 new toys and had them brought over to their new home!! I was going to get a picture of them both in the crates, but when the forklift took the first one off the trailer and we popped a side open to see which way was the front, we all got excited and tore that crate apart before anyone thought to take a picture. So then I said wait a minute!! I got to go get a camera............. This is a 30" saw sitting there all nice and pretty and clean. The crate is the 18" saw that we have not opened yet. opening the crate Both of them sitting in their new spots And adding oil Now I have to run a new sub panel for the 30" saw then she will be up and running. I am getting excited already!!!! Thanks John!! Tony

Good for you! Wow! I'm envious!
I'll just have to console myself with the fact that at least I don't have to clean them. :-)

I have the same model 18 inch saw and so I know how big that one is. That 30 inch saw looks like a monster beside the 18 inch one. I guess we will know where to find Tony for some time to come. Playing with those new saws, of course.

Tony: So VERY clean and NEW too! I am sure you soon take care of the too clean bit considering you have MOST of the known rock in Idaho. Like most of the viewers of this post, I am just about as green with envy as these saws are green. The rock shop must be doing well. Woody

I don't see how anything that size can be called a "toy". That's like saying an aircraft carrier is just a boat. lol I thought you were a slabbing fool before hand, now I'll have to come up with a new term. ;D

You know, to me an 18" saw is big, but when you see it beside a 30", it dwarfs that little 18". Those are a great, long lasting investment. Have fun.

THOSE ARE SOME SERIOUS TOYS !
Out where you guys are you need serious saws like that. In Iowa a ten inch will usually do.
Unless your wife hasn't a clue what your doin on E-Bay !
