Well, my first batch of rocks are finally done with the polish. Here's some pics of how they turned out. All in all I'm happy with the way they turned out. They could be better, but I didn't expect them to turn out as good as they did. Most of them we picked up along the beaches last summer while camping around the great lakes. Some of them came out of our driveway. A bunch of the real small ones don't shine much. There is a "tooth rock" as my kids named it in the upper right corner. That is a great tumble and the memories of your beach trip will stay with you every time you look at these! I would think your smaller, non shiny rocks are softer stones that have deteriorated being with the harder stones. Not a bad thing since it has allowed these to shine up so well! Fran
