I got a new double-barrel Lortone tumbler before Christmas and sent my single barrel to my nephew for X-mas. My first tumbling batch just finished today and I am pretty happy with the results. I tumbled nubs from my trim saw and several pieces from the Oregon coast and Hampton Butte.

Wow man - you tumble as expertly as you cab! Those stones are beautiful. I love the mixture of colours and patterns, there are some pretty Picture Jaspers and a good selection of Agates. Spectacular tumble Sir! Thanks for sharing your efforts! What better way is there to use up those slabby off cuts?! ;D

I used cerium oxide (the cheaper pink stuff) and small plastic pellets (B-B size). I ran it for 7 days.
