;D After going though a rough few days, I returned to work to find a FRB sitting on my chair from (Stonesthatrock) Mary Ann. Mary Ann was clearing out some slabs at $2 a pound so I knew I could afford 10lbs. Well, the worst part of today was making it through the day so I could get home and open the box to rinse everything off and look at them. My jaw dropped and stayed that way! Now, I know what a few are but not all and frankly, I don't care. They are just beautiful and my pictures don't show the half of it! Nice Obsidian Now that really made my day a great one! Thank you Mary Ann! Fran

What a great way to begin a work day! You mean you didn't open it during lunch? actually that was smart cause you would have spent the rest of the worday in the ladys room just admiring them.
That's a wonderful box of slabs.

Beautiful! The reddish/brown with blue is llanite, but I think the gray with blue is something else... I remember Ken working with it a bunch. If I can remember the name I'll modify this post. The green with black spots is Kabamba/Kabamby jasper from Africa, but you (frane) probably knew that one!
WTG stonesthatrock!

It sure is some sweet stuff! I already have patterns drawn on some of them for future projects. Now they just have to get to the saw. Fran
