I went to the Owyhee gem and mineral club show today and it got me in the mood to play with rocks again. So I came home and promptly fired up some saws and then cleaned out the slab bucket. I also learned the identification of a few materials I have that I was not sure of before. Shot of the whole bucket I found a chunk of Biggs in one of my piles that went about 30-35 lbs. These are the first batch of slabs off of that chunk. A few slices off of a Hog Creek Nodule, totally crystal interior Pietersite, the one at about 11 o'clock has a totally clear agate window in the center. The first time I have seen this with the Pietersite that I have been cutting. Some of Nancy's prime rib from Graveyard Point I have a few chunks of this from the Oregon estate, I have been cutting some lately. I found some of this at the show today, and talked with the vendor who was selling it. He happens to be the claim owner and he identified it for me. This is Hidden Valley Jasper from the Owyhee's. Some really cool stuff!! Now I am starting to get the bug to get out and start looking for some really cool stuff! Thanks for lookin................Tony
