Yes if you dry sand, its not Copal.

That Amber is beautiful with such a wonderful color and shine. How long did it take to polish it?

Nice job on the amber! It takes a TOTALLY different technique from agate/jasper to work amber. A lot of people go bugfruit over amber, but not too many people work it (including me) because it requires a lot of hand work. Nice project for a lazy summer afternoon!

"bugfruit over amber" thats a good one. I have few with bugs. But the pieces are not right for cabbing.
