Two part epoxy. Used it for over 35 years on rocks and it works great. Ken

That one is a beauty. I once tried to make a butterfly out of shells and used super glue. It came out pretty but it came apart after a while.

I like that you have the bail on the wing tip rather than on the top. It will make it look like the butterfly is fluttering! kj
