Fox Rocks Show

My family and I attended the Fox Rocks Show at the Weis Earth Science Museum in Menasha Wisconsin today. This was my (our) first show and it was a fun experience.
Besides looking at all the great collections being displayed, my daughters got to hand polish a piece of kona dolomite and do a scavenger hunt to earn an agate bracelet. I bought a few slabs to someday cab, my wife bought her mom a marble, and the girls bought some carved animals and grab bags with several different items in them.
I'm very excited that I got to see a specimin of some labradorite found near wausau. I've read it's also called wausau moonstone. It's really beautiful, and I hope to someday be able to collect some myself.
