I got a pound of Lagunas on ebay for $10, so today I sliced them up. Steve Holmes wanted to see them so here they are! I think he has the right idea with the echostones, the little nubbins are so cute to just polish and look at, versus cabbing. Here is the rough Sliced The largest, almost 2 inches, should make a nice cab, very pink! My other favs, black white and bright orange! I love the variety of color in these, blue, pink, black, orange, yellow, very neat! Steve I will make you one!!!! Enjoy! Amber

Thanks Amber! Are you hooked on Lagunas now?? I love slicing them...and it seems I get about one really nice one every 10 or so I slice. Of course...I think they are all nice. It's a blast cutting something you never know what's going to be inside. Thanks for sharing! Steve

Great fun cutting into those, I bet. I love cutting open any rock. I really have a tuff time just leaving a specimen sit on a shelf. I got a really nice piece of Willow Creek from Tony a while back and it has been sitting on the shelf. But its days are numbered til it meets Mr. Saw! Hope
