Did this sphere by hand(no sphere machine). Lazulite from Graves Mtn., Ga. Ken P.S. It WAS hard to do.

Wow Ken that must have been hard. I've made a couple hundred spheres out of wood on the lathe but couldn't imagine trying it on a cabbing machine. Mine would look more like an egg, or a square. lol

Not so much skill as patience. Had to cut a cube and then cut it 16 more times to get it kinda round. Then it was just a matter of letting it roll in my fingers and bump,bump, bump till it roundded itself. Still has a little slightly flat area. Thanks for the comments, Ken
