Here are a few more pics of the beautiful Vermont Antigorite that Dennis (wolfden) sent me. These gemmy pieces are 1mm thick to show off the translucence of the material and will be incorporated into some special triplet cabs. Dont ask me how I managed to slice them this thin freehand but I managed somehow LOL ;D I am sooo LOVING Wolf's local material. Around here I only have basalt. Grey basalt everywhere. Thanks again Wolf, Shannon

You must have surgeons hands and nerve of steel to cut like that. The material is WOW and what you have done with it so far is even WOWSER!

I am impressed with the material and with your cuts!! I know some slab saws that don't cut that straight.
Nice job................Tony

Really nice material and amazing cuts! Are you going to show us your step by step? I think it all sounds fascinating when you talk about your doublets and triplets. I would love to see the process! Fran

Very cool material, and those cuts you made are crazy! Looking forward to seeing why you cut them so thin.

Unbelievable freehand cutting, and beautiful rock. I was thinking that cutting slabs that thin, our local rock shop makes guitar picks and charges $25 to $50 a piece for them. Not a bad price for a guitar pick if you know where to sell them.
