Amber made me this beautiful cab and wanted to wrap it for me. Well she did fantastic work on the cab but her wrap, well how do I say this delicately, left something to be desired. She claims she can't wrap but I think she just goes too quickly. Well I removed her wire, in her presence of course, and wrapped it myself. Admittedly the 18 gage craft wire is really hard to bend so I can understand some of her problems. I didn't do a very good job of wrapping the bail but I'll wear it and love it just the same.

Tony, that's nice. Get Amber some of that 21 gauge Vintaj wire - it is stiff enough to help out new fingers- without being so hard new fingers get beat all to pieces. I tried it first with that 18 gauge craft wire, clobbered me too. I just unwrapped and tossed it in the trash. I would have been very happy if it had looked even half as good as yours lol!. Yeah it was that bad.

Aww hon you should have shown the wires that were sticking out ready to slit your throat!!! I hate wire, I have the utmost respect for you guys!! I love to see them, but hate to do them!!!
This was totally Fariburn's idea using the black wire, so the idea came from him!!! I love his agates wrapped in black for men!! This was a nice tee pee agate and I wanted Tony to wear it. So if that meant unwrapping it so be it!!!! At least now maybe he will wear one that I made him! Amber

slit the throat huh? *tries not to laugh quite so loud* I hear ya lol!
You know Amber, you have such a talent with cabs, you don't have to do wire too - that is a really pretty stone and yeah, that black wire does set it off nicely. I'll have to remember that when I attempt to make menly wear.
3 Tony? got any pics? I am a newbie and missed the other 2.

I have about 10 that I wear, 3 are from Amber. She has been after me for a while to post the ones I wear so I will have to do that. I'll work on the photos this weekend.

I like it. something I would wear too. I have just about quit wrapping too. Mostly cutting and let Donna do the wrapping. She does a prettier job than I do. I do the manly wraps now. She don't like to cut that well, so we make a good team.

She can do ovals she just thinks she can't. I wish the darn photo didn't have so much glare. This one was so spectacular that my ex even noticed it.

LOL, Amber is a very impatient person. I remember her first cabs. Complaining because she didn't do 'em right.
Amber sweetie, ya got to LEARN. It takes TIME. ;D

That is a great cab! And I'm glad you could remove the scratchy parts from the wrap. If you could slow her down and mellow her out she would surpass us all! T

Shannon- I loved that his ex noticed it and was fussing how great it was,and then he said I made it, hahahaha!!!!
He does always point out the flaws, but is very encouraging, and complimentary! Not to mention half nuts for putting up with me for 10 months!
We are total opposites!!! He is very mellow and particular, I am a bulldozer!!! So far it is working!!! I am going to slow down, when coffee gets as expensive as cigs!!!!

LOL She hasn't been brave enough to show me her macaroni art yet. lol She could be a good wrapper if she took her time and was less critical. She'll start wrapping a binding and if she gets one or two bad looking loops she just says _ it and wraps the remaining ones as fast as possible just to get done. I KNOW she can do it but its HER that has to know she can do it.
