we had a few larger bottles of Harvey's Bristol Cream Sherry over the holidays and i decided to try and tumble them. always loved the color of these bottles. it took two barrels of coarse grind to get enough to proceed to the next step. lots of loss, breakage and one blowout (gassy stuff this). the larger thicker pieces produced the best results, although a few swoopy pieces came out pretty well, too. these are kinda neat: this was definetly an experiment, i'm not sure i'd try it again. i have a whole box full of un-tumbleable shards that i'm not sure how to dispose of them. probably not recyclable either, and part of my original thought was to go "green" by recycling the bottles this way. thanks for looking, KD

Cool tumble, KD. Those curvy butterflies/sting rays are gorgeous.
Take a lotta time to do that with a rock.

You better put the aluminum hat on and stand out in a lightning storm to get your brain waves back where they belong!!!!! ;D GREAT job KD!!!! connrock

Those turned out really pretty. I don't know why you don't do anymore unless it damaged your barrel. Those are perfect pieces for wrapping. Tami
