Yep, for the first time ever, I wrapped a stone that I cabbed, that I found myself. This is a PA local rock from my visit to naturenut's house two weeks ago. I miss that trip!! Anyhow, I did this for Randysgal and I'm actually kinda proud of it, it's some of my better work and I love the stone! ;D ...... Thanks for looking!!

Randy; Looks super is that the stuff that looked like wood? Was it really bright green inside when you sliced it? I just finished a cab from that stuff only it is more dark green with gold flecks! I found a local mineral club in Reading, the meeting is in April, I am going to take some of Jo's things and see if any members can make some positive ID's. Amber

Its really a good feeling.........finding a stone yourself....something that maybe has never been picked up before and then cabbing and wrapping it. Great job Randy.

Thanks! Wolf- I don't really have a clue on what it is, but is shines alot more than the pic shows and also the pic doesn't really show what looks like gold metallic all over. It's really sweet out in the sun.

Oh now that's just super-duper all the way around! Randy, you should be incredibly proud of yourself and that work of art!

Great job Randy, nothing like seeing something you found all prettied up. Don't worry about not knowing what it is. If I was only allowed to pick up stuff if I knew what it was, I would go home empty handed a lot. Really nice whatever it is.

Randy: It is a good warm fuzzy feeling to make something beautiful from finding it to finish, and YOU ought to be proud of all the wraps you do do from what I see here on the forum. Woody
