I don't know if anyone has caught on to the small flat rate "video" boxes, 8-5/8" x 5-3/8" x 1-5/8" But just for the nuts of it we filled a bunch with crushed tumbling rock and they hold about 3 pounds a box. A great size for those with one 3# barrel. Selling these for 5 bucks each and Flat Rate shipping is $4.80. Total $9.80 a box. Now I have acquired a large bit of Jaspers, Agates etc from a rock shop that had stock from the 1950's. So we are more than happy to fill the regular $9.85 Flat Rate Box with about any sized mix you like for about $1.00 a pound. I guess that comes to about $29.85 for that larger size, which seems about standard. We have not been selling much as we have been busy cabbing and cutting, but it has occurred to me that we will in no way be able to use all of this material in our life time. We always pack extra and this stuff is from all over the country. I can't name absolutely all of it abd that is why the price is low. I will keep all the hardnesses similar if you are tumbling but I charge $2.00 a pound to crush it to tumbling size. I'll try to label the stuff I can ID if you by the larger Flat Rate box of mixed rock. Anyway-I thought that the small flat rate box might be a good idea. Thanks -Banjo P.S. if anyone buys one of the $5 boxes of crushed tumbling rough, let us know what you think by way of feedback. Especially how the package arrived and the condition so we can improve where needed. Thanks again!! -Michael

So far I am told to mind the packaging as I guess these are thin boxes. So I will be sure to use a good amount of shipping tape and then I usually go around width, height and girth with strapping tape, so that should hold well. Take Care all!

Just got my FRB, it was bursting to the seams and it was packaged so nicely!!! I wanted to share!!! Banjo: This was a great deal, I figured it would just be mixed rock thrown in a box. Everything was wrapped so neatly and labelled neatly!! I want to tear everything open, but then I mess up the labels!!! I opened a few pieces and they are beautiful!!!! Great deal here guys!!!!! Thanks Amber

Thanks for the feedback Amber. We like to try to ID as much as possible. That's the only way we learned anything. We still have a lot of stuff we can't ID, but it's still good looking material. If we knew what absolutely all of the stuff was, we might not be able to sell it for $1.00 a pound. (Some of our very first FRB's had labels like 'Green Rock', 'Blue Rock' and 'A rock for someone who likes Pink'. But we've done a little bit of studying since then.) We still have plenty to pack into FRB's to anyone who wants a good lot of cabbing, cutting, tumbling material. Thanks Michael & Jolyn at www.banjo-creek.com
