I'm mostly a cabber but as an offshoot I also tumble. I get lots of small offcuts of some interesting slabs plus other material I buy just for tumbling. Its been a year since I ran the vibe so I wasn't sure if I'd remember how to get the rocks shiny. These turned out fairly well, not as shiny as they could have been. Here are the pics. The reds. The greens. The clears, mostly quartz from the Chesapeake Bay. Ocean jasper. Peruvian pink opal on the left and bots on the right. Some of the bigger miscellaneous rocks. There are some lakers in there. Some more of the bigger ones. Smaller rocks. Tiny rocks. My favs and a few slabs I threw in just for kicks. Thanks for looking.

Wow! What a great mix of materials! I like how you sorted some by colors for the pictures. The carnelians look sweet in the "red" picture. Thanks for posting these.

That's a sweet batch, a lot of color and a lot of shine. You haven't forgotten anything at all.

Welcome back Tony! You did a great job on these and I am looking forward to seeing the next round. Your OJ looks great! I never get it to turn out that well and I would love to know what the green is also on the right side of your green picture. Very pretty! Fran

Thanks everyone. The green is either imperial jasper or just plain green jasper. I'm not sure which. My vibe tumbler is a Lyman 1200 Turbo. Its made for polishing bullet cases but it works just fine for rocks and it was much cheaper than a Thumlers.
