Beautiful places you've been through! Thank you for taking us alomg with you. Very nice finds also, very good for tumbling 'cause they are already rounded. First stage will be very short.

Wow it's so beautiful up there. Looks like you and the pup had a wonderful day Shannon. By the look of things there's more to find than just basalt too!

looks like a fun trip and great photos! I can't wait for the snow to be gone here so I can start hounding again...have jade, agate and opal trips planned, so your photos definately make me itchy for it again!

Don't you just love the sleuthing that is involved in tracking down the right spot? Can be frustrating as all get-out, but when you nail it-- what a rush! WTG Wolf! WTG Shannon and Dyna! Love the round rocks too! Jo

Wow, Shannon, wonderful pictures lass 'Specially liked pics 1 & 3, those yellow lines on the roads look pretty mean. I hope you had a puncture repair kit with you. Where abouts did you see that bucket full of rocks? Seems a strange thing to see growing in a field. Ah well, you know best, but make sure you turn the sprinkler off before going to bed See you soon

You live in such a beautiful area. I know hounding was the main goal but with scenery like that it has to be hard keeping your eye to the ground. Daisy Mae is sure growing up fast. I was expecting to see a pic with a rock in her mouth. lol.
You got really great rocks that day. I'ld still be there digging for the drusies.

Lori, Some of the druzy has your name on it. That pup ALWAYS has a rock in her mouth. Today I found her on the dining room floor with two of the hunks of druzy. She's just the best little rock dog. Shannon
