This is Psilomelane rough from San Bernardino County, California. It weighs just under 4 pounds.
I'm putting this up for sale as a result of discussion in THIS thread. Only those who are very interested in this particular material and it's possible suitability for lapidary purposes should consider purchasing it. Although there seems to be good probability that it will be nice stuff, there's the possibility that it won't, for whatever reason. Psilomelane is generally VERY pricey material.
I'm selling this for $20 with free shipping in the continental US.
