Took a few hours for myself Sunday...after I did yard work. Too bad I didn't have more time. I think there's a touch of Summer in the air finally! Biggs Jasper. I thought this was just gonna be killer until the fracture appeared. AGGHHHH! Oh well....I finished it anyways. Laguna Echostone. Love the colors on this one. Something I did for my neighbors. They have been sooo good to me the last few weeks and keeping me sane. ;D I wanted to do something special for them. Brazilian Agate. She came over and beaded it herself...and they loved the concept. She agreed to model if I didn't show her face. Hopefully I'll get to play more this week. Steve

Nice set of cabs Steve. Even with the fracture the biggs still looks really good. The two piece heart is wonderful. And, my favorite of the bunch is the Laguna. Great set. Thanks for sharing them, I always like seeing your work. Question for ya'....what do you use to polish the Salina Wonderstone? I tried making a cab with it but it would not take a polish. David

Steve: That laguna set is awesome,  Great colors in those. The crack is not that obvious in the biggs, it still looks super ! Hey, you made them a heart like you made for me and Tony!!!! Now I'm jealous, I'm not special, Here is the pic, so people can see more of your work!!! We each wear half the heart, so we can miss our other half!!! See the right hand side, it looks like an A at the top above the red spot! That is my half! I hope Deeptime sees your heart!! Glad you had a chance to play, and had some sunshine! Sun and rocks are a good thing! Amber ;D

Too bad about that fracture on the Biggs, it would had been a beauty indeed.

I love your cabs and they are all Aces but that heart is super and I love the simplicity of the chord and beads.

Grrr...I hate sneaky fractures! It's still a beauty, though. Love the Lagunas, too!

That biggs is beautiful as they all are. Maybe you just need to seal it and repolish it. It is too pretty not to try it. Fran

The lagunas are beauts! I can't imagine how much you spent on material that nice. That Biggs does have a great pattern. I hate sneaky cracks. I like you hearts too. Glad you got some fun time in.

Steve, this is a great batch of cabs. I've had the same issue with Biggs and Deschutes. You'll have a fracture that is invisible until about the 1200 wheel. I've had some success sealing these with the red Hot Stuff at the 1200 step. Opticon also works well, it's just more messy.
The Laguna is fantastic.

Steve, like how you did the heart shape by cutting it in two. Very unique design.

summer is coming back with heart ! Those are fantastic Steve! I have that idea peculating in my head also. so now i see how it looks!!! My idea is to glue a smaller heart into the inlay and glue the whole thing together an echo-echo quadruple heart inlay sort of ---trying to avoid a bypass--- :nono: but yin~yang as me busy presently you guys are to quick for me! but I got <3 so i'll get there
